Fanuc 10, 11, 12, & 15 RS-232 Parameters

Notate or take a picture of any parameters before you change them

Change Fanuc Parameters

  1. Set write key to enable
  2. Put control in MDI mode
  3. Press far left softkey until you see SETTING softkey
  4. Press SETTING softkey until you get to "SETTING(HANDY)" page
    1. Set the following settings
      1. PUNCH CODE to "0"
      2. INPUT DEVICE to "1" or "2"
      3. OUTPUT DEVICE to "1" or "2"
        1. 1 is MDI/CRT port of 10/11/12 controls. CD4A connector on the base 0 PCB of a 15 control
        2. 2 is Master PCB of 10/11/12 controls. CD4B connector on the base 0 PCB of a 15 control
    2. Press SETTING softkey until you get to "SETTING(SETTINGS)" page
    3. Press left cursor key to reveal parameter 8000 bit 0, change it to "1" to enable parameter write (PWE)
    4. Press right cursor to reveal parameter 0000 and set the following parameters
        5. Double right and double left are page up and page down keys
      1. 0000 to "00000000"
      2. 5001 to "1"
      3. 5002 to "1"
      4. 5110 to "3"
      5. 5111 to "2"
      6. 5112 to one of the following
        1. Set to "12" for 19200 baud
        2. Set to "11" for 9600 baud
        3. Set to "10" for 4800 baud
        4. Set to "9" for 2400 baud
        5. Set to "8" for 1200 baud
    5. Go back to parameter 8000 bit 0, change it to "0" to disable parameter write (PWE)
