Notate or take a picture of any parameters before you change them

Change Fanuc Parameters

  1. Put control in MDI mode
  2. Press OFFSET/SETTING (aka OFS/SET) button until you see the SETTING (HANDY) page
    1. If you do not see the SETTING (HANDY) page, either press the SETTING softkey or press OFFSET/SETTING until you do see it
  3. Set PARAMETER WRITE (PWE) to "1"
  4. Set PUNCH CODE or OUTPUT CODE to "1"
  5. Set I/O CHANNEL to "0"
  6. Press SYSTEM button
  7. Press PARAMETER softkey
  8. Set the following parameters
    1. 0000 to "XXXXXX10" ("X" means do not change)
    2. 0020 to "0"
    3. 0100 to "00000000"
    4. 0101 to "10000001"
    5. 0102 to "0"
    6. 0103 to one of the following:
      1. Set to "12" for 19200 baud
      2. Set to "11" for 9600 baud
      3. Set to "10" for 4800 baud
  9. Press OFFSET/SETTING button
  10. Set PARAMETER WRITE (PWE) to "0"
  11. Press RESET button to clear alarm
