Floppy Connect 2.0 LED Statuses
Overview
Understanding the LEDs on the Floppy Connect 2.0 are invaluable when interacting with the unit.
CARD LED
- Off = No USB flash drive inserted
- Green (solid on) = USB flash drive is inserted and formatted correctly
- Red (blinking on/off) = USB flash drive is not properly formatted, or error in Floppy Connect 2.0 settings
R/W (Read/Write) LED
- Off = Host machine in standby (no read/write activity)
- Green (solid on) = Host machine is accessing the Floppy Connect 2.0 (read/write activity)

If both CARD and R/W LEDs are lit at the same time, this indicates the ribbon cable was plugged in backwards. Power down machine, flip ribbon cable, and power up machine to confirm the Floppy Connect 2.0 no longer shows both LEDs lit.
