How to Access Windows on Mazak Smooth

Overview

Accessing Windows on a Mazak Smooth control (windows-based) is necessary to set network settings, configure MTConnect, and setting up shares. 

Requirements

  1. Windows-based Smooth Control

Accessing Windows

  1. Press the far-left softkey to reveal SMART (MAZ), SMART (EIA), EXPERT, etc.
  2. Press EXPERT
  3. Press the far-left softkey and press POSITION
  4. In the upper lefthand corner, press the GEAR ICON
  5. Go to Setup and check Show Windows Taskbar
  6. You can now access the Windows taskbar at the bottom of the screen
  7. Follow the reverse steps to hide the Windows taskbar
