How to Assign Manufacturing or Quality Statuses to User or User Group

Overview

Manufacturing and Quality statuses allow for more refined control of vault item revisions and how they can be interacted with. This article explains how to assign these statuses to users or user groups. 

Requirements

  1. Predator PDM Administrator
  2. Predator PDM User Account with at least PDM Administrator permissions

Select Manufacturing Status per User or User Group

  1. Log into Predator PDM
  2. If not already outside the Vault Viewer, close the Vault Viewer (File > Close)
  3. Go to Administrator > Select Manufacturing Status per User or User Group
  4. Select User or User Group
  5. From the drop down, select a User or User Group
  6. Click Next
  7. Check all applicable Manufacturing Statuses
  8. Click Finish when done

Select Quality Status per User or User Group

  1. Log into Predator PDM
  2. If not already outside the Vault Viewer, close the Vault Viewer (File Close)
  3. Go to Administrator Select Quality Status per User or User Group
  4. Select User or User Group
  5. From the drop down, select a User or User Group
  6. Click Next
  7. Check all applicable Quality Statuses
  8. Click Finish when done
