How to Assign Permissions to a User or User Group

Overview

Predator database driven products such as PDM and MDC allow for permission control. Permissions can be assigned to an individual user (not recommended) or a user group (recommended).

Requirements

  1. Predator PDM Administrator License
  2. Predator PDM User Account with the Following Permissions
    1. Assign Permissions

Assign Permissions to a User or User Group

  1. From the main Predator menu, go to Administrator > Assign Permissions...
  2. Select "User" or "User Group" option
  3. Select the user or user group from the list
  4. Check any and all permissions applicable to this user or user group
  5. Click Finish when done
