How to Assign Predator PDM Vault Commands (Buttons) to a User or User Group

Overview

Vault commands, aka buttons, can be assigned to User or User Groups to help control who can access their feature. Assignments are not required, but once done, you must assign all of them to a User and/or User Group.

Requirements

  1. Predator PDM with Administrator License
  2. Predator PDM User Account in PDM Administrator User Group

Assign Vault Command to a User Group

  1. Log into Predator PDM Administrator
  2. If currently in the Vault Viewer, go to File Close or click the small X in the upper right corner to close it
  3. Go to Administrator > Select Vault Commands per User or User Group
  4. Select User Group and choose a User Group from the dropdown menu

  5. Select all applicable Vault Commands

  6. Click Finish when done
  7. Repeat for each User Group

SFA recommends using User Groups to manage Vault Commands
  1. Log into Predator PDM Administrator
  2. If currently in the Vault Viewer, go to File Close or click the small X in the upper right corner to close it
  3. Go to Administrator > Select Vault Commands per User or User Group
  4. Select User and choose a User from the dropdown menu

  5. Select all applicable Vault Commands

  6. Click Finish when done
  7. Repeat for each User
