How to Change Mori-Server Permissions
Overview
DMG Mori (Mori Seiki) machines with networking capabilities support sending and receiving program directly to and from the CNC memory via the Predator DNC DMG Mori MAPPS Terminator. In most cases, the only requirement is the MAPPS control is connected to the network, but sometimes additional settings need to be configured on the MAPPS control.
Change Mori-Server Permissions
- Press SYSTEM button
- Press I/O softkey
- Press far-left (<) softkey
- Press COMM. SETNG softkey
- Press 4 to select "Network I/O Setting"
- Press SERVER DETAIL softkey
- Change to PERMIT for "NC PROGRAM INPUT/OUTPUT", "FOREGROUND PROGRAM", "BG EDIT PROGRAM", and "NC PROGRAM"
- Restart the CNC control when complete
