Configure Wired Connection settings 

1. Press SETTING button
   
2. Go to Network tab
   
3. Go to Wired Connection tab
   
4. To set the following fields, select each field and press Right Arrow button for a menu pick
   
1. Set Wired Network Enabled to "On"
   
2. Set Obtain Address Automatically to "Off"
   
5. To set the following fields, select each field, type values, then press ENTER button
   
1. Set IP Address
   
2. Set Subnet Mask
   
3. Set Default Gateway
   
6. Press F4 to apply changes
   

Local Net Share

This is the most common method to connect a Haas NGC. This enables the hard drive on the Haas to be shared to the network allowing you to drop programs right onto its hard drive. 

1. Press SETTING button
   
2. Go to Net Share tab
   
3. To set the following fields, select each field and press Right Arrow button for a menu pick
1. Set Remote Net Share Enabled to "Off"
   
2. Set Local Net Share Enabled to "On"
   
3. Set Local Net Share Security to "On"
   
4. Set Local User Name to "haas"
   
5. Set Local Password to "HAAS"
4. Press F4 button to apply changes
   

Remote Net Share

This is used to connect to a SMB share hosted on a server. This is the least common method to connect a Haas NGC. 

1. Press SETTING button
   
2. Go to Net Share tab
   
3. To set the following fields, select each field and press Right Arrow button for a menu pick
1. Set Remote Net Share Enabled to "On"
   
2. Set Remote Server Name to the SMB file server name (e.g. \\file-svr\cncprograms)
   
3. Set Remote Share Path to the SMB share folder name (e.g. \\file-svr\cncprograms)
   
4. Set Remote User Name to the Windows user account with permissions to the SMB share
   
5. Set Remote Password to the Windows user account password
4. Press F4 button to apply changes, wait for Remote Net Share to say UP
