How to Configure Haas NGC Network Settings

Overview

This will go over how to configure the wired Ethernet settings and Net Share on a Haas Next Generation Control.

Configure Wired Connection settings 

  1. Press SETTING button
  2. Go to Network tab
  3. Go to Wired Connection tab
  4. To set the following fields, select each field and press Right Arrow button for a menu pick
    1. Set Wired Network Enabled to "On"
    2. Set Obtain Address Automatically to "Off"
  5. To set the following fields, select each field, type values, then press ENTER button
    1. Set IP Address
    2. Set Subnet Mask
    3. Set Default Gateway
  6. Press F4 to apply changes

Net Share Security Disabled

  1. Press SETTING button
  2. Go to Net Share tab
  3. To set the following fields, select each field and press Right Arrow button for a menu pick
      1. Set Remote Net Share Enabled to "Off"
      2. Set Local Net Share Enabled to "On"
      3. Set Local Net Share Security to "Off"
    1. Press F4 button to apply changes


    Net Share Security Enabled

    1. Press SETTING button
    2. Go to Net Share tab
    3. To set the following fields, select each field and press Right Arrow button for a menu pick
      1. Set Remote Net Share Enabled to "Off"
      2. Set Local Net Share Enabled to "On"
      3. Set Local Net Share Security to "On"
    4. Press F4 button to apply changes
