How to Delete Multiple Vault Items in Predator PDM
Overview
Deleting multiple Vault Items in Predator PDM can be done in Predator PDM.
There is no undo or recovery from using the Vault Item Delete wizard. This feature is only intended to be used by knowledgeable Predator PDM Administrators.
Requirements
- Predator PDM Administrator
- Predator PDM User Account with the Administrator Rights
Vault Item Delete
- Log into Predator PDM
- If currently in the Vault Viewer, go to File > Close or click the small X in the upper right corner to close it
- Go to File > Administrator > Vault Item Delete...
- Select the Vault
- Optionally, select additional components to filter down what will be deleted
- To delete all Vault Items in a Vault, just select the Vault
- To delete all Vault Items for a particular machine, select the Vault and a Machine
- Click Next
- Select "Old Vault Items Only" or "ALL Vault Items"
- Check the remaining boxes to delete Inspection Data as needed
- Click Next
- To initiate the delete, click Finish
This process can take some time based on how many Vault Items are to be deleted.
