How to Disable SNMP on Moxa NPort W2150A, W2250A, W2150A-W4, & W2250A-W4
Overview
The SNMP agent is on by default, but this might be forbidden on some corporate networks. The following article will help you disable SNMP.
Requirements
- Network connection to the Moxa device
- Username & password of the Moxa device
Disable SNMP Agent
- Once logged into the Moxa device, go to System Management > Misc. Network Settings > SNMP Agent
- Set "SNMP" to Disable
- Click Submit
- Go to Restart > Restart System
- Click Submit
- Device will reboot
