How to Enable Predator CNC Editor Colors, aka Syntax Highlighting
Overview
The Predator CNC Editor offers a dynamic feature known as Syntax Highlighting, which allows users to apply color coding to various elements of their CNC programs. This includes registers, comments, and other components, customizable to the user's liking.
Requirements
- Predator CNC Editor or CNC Editor Express
- Local Administrator Rights (for advanced method only)
Enable Syntax Highlighting in CNC Editor
- Go to Format > Colors...
- Check "Use Syntax Highlighting"
- Click OK
Enable Syntax Highlighting via Windows Registry (Advanced Method)
- Close Predator CNC Editor
- Open Registry Editor
- Navigate to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Predator\PEditor\Settings"
- Change UseSyntaxHighlighting Hexadecimal value to "ffffffff" (default is 0)
- Launch Predator CNC Editor
