How to Factory Reset Digi ConnectPort TS 8 & 16

Overview

The following article will reset the hub to factory defaults.
After performing the factory reset, the system will revert to the default password which can be found on the bottom of the unit printed on a white label. This is required to reprogram the device.

Factory Reset the Hub

  1. Power off the Digi ConnectPort hub
  2. Locate the RESET button on your Digi device
  3. Hold the RESET button down gently with a non-conductive, small diameter tool (such as wood or plastic) with a blunt end (NOT SHARP or the button could be damaged)
  4. Power on the device while holding the RESET button down
  5. After 30 seconds, release the RESET button. At this point, on some models, the Status LED will blink a 1-5-1 pattern. Wait for the device to boot up. At this time, the configuration is returned to factory defaults.
