How to Factory Reset Moxa NPort W2150A, W2250A, W2150A-W4, & W2250A-W4

Overview

This will restore all settings, including IP address and Wi-Fi settings, back to factory defaults.

Factory Reset

  1. Fully power up Moxa NPort device
  2. Using a small pin such as a toothpick or paper clip, gently press and hold down the Reset Button, Ready LED will begin flashing green
  3. Release Reset Button when Ready LED turns red, approximately 6 seconds
  4. Wait until Ready LED turns green, approximately 12 seconds before powering down the Moxa NPort device again
