How to Manage DataXchange Email Template Assignments

Overview

Email and text notifications are triggered by expressions, but the recipients of those emails are managed in Email Template Assignments. DataXchange uses "email to text" which simply uses an email address that contains the recipients phone number. Assignments for these text notifications are handled the same as email notifications. 

Requirements

1. DataXchange Application
   
2. DataXchange User Account with Permissions to Email Template Assignments (typically Administrators)
   

Add and Remove User in Email Templates

1. Log into DataXchange
   
2. Go to DataXchange > Messaging> Assignments
   
3. Select the Email Template from the top section
   
4. Click Modify
   
5. In the lower portion of the screen, you will see two windows, Users on the left and Selected Users on the right
   
6. Users in the Users window have yet to be assigned to the Email Template
   
7. Users in the Selected Users window are currently assigned to the Email Template
   
8. Move users back and forth using the left and right arrows in the middle
   
9. Click Enter when done

Users are marked Company and External, this indicates which email address the email notification will go to since each user can have up to two email addresses.
