How to Obtain Mitsubishi EDM Version Information to Get MTConnect

Overview

To obtain a MTConnect Adapter for Mitsubishi EDMs, it is necessary to gather the main system version number as well as check if it has the DNC option. This article will provide instructions on how to obtain this information so you can provide it to your Account Executive. 

Determine Software Version Number

  1. Navigate to MAINT softkey at the top, then click on the clock softkey on the right, then press VERSION
  2. Note version number for “MAIN SYSTEM”

Determine whether DNC option is installed

  1. Navigate to MAINT softkey at the top
  2. Hold Ctrl + Shift then right-click on Tools (next to M7 or M8 button)
  3. Pop-up menu will appear
  4. Activate both User Maintenance and Maker Maintenance
  5. Go to Parameters
  6. Open Options
  7. This area will display all HW and SW options (will show checkmark if active)
  8. Please note whether the DNC option is checked or not
