How to Restart or Start the pWidgets Service

Overview

Occasionally, pWidgets may require a service restart. This article will guide you through the process.

Requirements

  1. Access to pWidgets Computer (typically the same computer where Predator DNC runs)
  2. Permissions to access Services.MSC (typically local administrator)

Restart pWidgets Service

Restarting may resolve issues that are disrupting communication with the machines.
  1. In the start menu, search for Services.MSC
  2. Open Services
  3. Look for "pWidgets Service"

  4. Right-click pWidgets Service and click Restart, this could take up to one minute to complete

Start pWidgets Service

If the service is not running, manually starting it may be necessary.
  1. In the start menu, search for Services.MSC
  2. Open Services
  3. Look for "pWidgets Service"

  4. Right-click pWidgets Service and click Start, this could take up to one minute to complete
