How to Restore the Predator DNC Administrator Shortcut

Overview

Predator DNC creates two icons when you install the application. The first, Predator DNC v11 Administrator which allows for changes to be made to the PXP configuration file. The second, Predator DNC v11 which is intended for operators and does not allow changes. It is common for the Predator DNC v11 Administrator icon to get deleted. There are a couple ways to retrieve the shortcut. 

Check the Windows Start Menu

  1. In the start menu search bar, type Predator DNC v11 Administrator
  2. If you get a result, right click and click Open file location

  3. Copy the Predator DNC v11 Administrator shortcut to the desktop
  4. If you cannot find it, proceed to the next section

Create a New One

  1. Go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Predator Software\DNC 11.0\"
  2. Right click PDNC.exe, go to Send to > Desktop (create shortcut)

  3. Go to desktop and right click on PDNC.exe - Shortcut, click Properties
  4. In Target field append -properties to the path
    1. Example: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Predator Software\DNC 11.0\PDNC.exe" -properties
  5. Click OK

  6. Now you can launch Predator DNC v11 Administrator with this newly created shortcut
  7. Optional: Change the name of the shortcut to "Predator DNC v11 Administrator"
