Change Fanuc Parameters

  1. Put control in MDI mode
  2. Press DGNOS PARAM button until you see "PARAMETER" page
  3. Press PARAM softkey
  4. On SETTING 1 page, change the following
    1. Set ISO to "1"
    2. Set I/O to "0" for port 0 or "1" for port 1
  5. Press PAGE DOWN
  6. On SETTING 2 page, change the following
    1. Set PWE to "1"
  7. Press PAGE DOWN to find and change the following parameters
  8. InfoTo change a bit, you must enter all bits, then press INPUT
    1. 0002 to "1XXXX0X1" ("X" means do not change)
    2. 0038 to "1010XXXX"
    3. 0055 to "XXXXX000"
    4. 0070 to "0XXXXXXX"
    5. 0552 to one of the following
      1. Set to "11" for 9600 baud
      2. Set to "10" for 4800 baud
      3. Set to "9" for 2400 baud
      4. Set to "8" for 1200 baud
      5. Set to "7" for 600 baud
  9. Go back to SETTING 2 page and change PWE back to 0
  10. Press RESET to clear any alarms

If the program is unable to load, try changing parameter 0038 to "1001XXXX". If that still does not work, try changing 0038 one more time to "10001000"
