How to Update Predator PDM Vault Admin Account

Overview

Predator PDM uses a Windows username and password, i.e. Windows service account. to grant read/write permissions to the vault. This KB will review how to change or update this information. 

Requirements

  1. Predator PDM
  2. PDM Administrator Account
  3. Windows Service Account Credentials
  4. Domain Name

Change Vault Admin Account

  1. Open Predator PDM and log in with a PDM administrator account
  2. Go to Edit > Components > Vault...
  3. Select the PDM vault you wish to alter, press Next

  4. Press Next
  5. Under Vault Admin Account, update the following information as needed
    1. Windows User for Vault Administrator is the Windows service account username
    2. Domain is your domain
    3. Password is the Windows service account password
  6. Press Test Account Access
    1. If this fails, check the service account credentials and/or domain
    2. If this succeeds, "Account Verified" will appear
  7. Press Next

  8. Press Next 
  9. Close Predator PDM
