How to Update pWidgets to the Latest Version

Overview

This article will discuss how to update pWidgets to the latest version. 

Requirements

  1. Local Administrator Rights
  2. Latest Version of pWidgets

Applying the update

Alert
Before applying the update, check if there's a service account running the pWidgets Service. If so, take note as this will have to be reapplied after the update is complete. 
  1. Extract, then run setup.exe and follow the installation prompts
  2. After that is installed, go to the desktop and while holding shift, right-click pWidgets Home View then click Run as administrator, this will install the service (if prompted to log in, do so)
