How to Update Secure DNC IP Address Parameter
Overview
Equipment using Predator Secure DNC and commonly have more than one network card that require Secure DNC to be bound to one of them. When changing the IP address of the equipment, the parameter (i.e. command line argument) must be updated as well.
Update Secure DNC IP Address Parameter
- From the Windows side of the control, locate the psdnc.exe shortcut in the startup folder by opening File Explorer and typing in "shell:common startup" or "shell:startup"
- Open the shortcuts properties (right-click > Properties)
- The IP address can be found in the Target field, update it
- Press OK when done
- Reboot the control
