Operator Guide - Fanuc 16i, 18i, & 21i

Overview

This will explain how to output a program (punch) from the CNC control and input a program (read) into the CNC control.

Controls Supported

  1. Fanuc 16i
  2. Fanuc 18i
  3. Fanuc 21i

How to Punch

  1. Put control in EDIT mode
  2. Press PROG button
  3. Press DIR softkey
  4. Press (OPRT) softkey
  5. Press far right + softkey until you see "PUNCH"
  6. Press PUNCH softkey
  7. Type in O number with the O, e.g. O1234
  8. Press EXEC softkey

How to Read

  1. Put control in EDIT mode
  2. Press PROG button
  3. Press DIR softkey
  4. Press (OPRT) softkey
  5. Press far right + softkey until you see "READ"
  6. Press READ softkey
  7. Press EXEC softkey
