Notate or take a picture of any parameters before you change them

Change Siemens 802D Parameters

1. Press Menu Select button
   
2. Press Services softkey
   
3. Press Devices softkey
   
4. Select Standard interface from top
   
5. Press Copy to clipboard softkey
6. Press Up/Left Diagonal button to go to the bottom
   
7. Press Paste from clipboard softkey
   
8. Give it a name, e.g. "Predator"
   
9. Press Input button
   
10. Press OK softkey
    
11. Highlight the interface
    
12. Press Edit softkey
    
13. Edit the following settings
    
1. Device type to "Universal"
   
2. Protocol to "RTS/CTS"
   
3. Baud rate to "4800"
   
4. Stop bits to "2"
   
5. Parity to "Even"
   
6. Bits per character to "7"
   
7. XON char. (hex) to "11"
   
8. XOFF char. (hex) to "13"
   
9. End of transmission ch. (hex) to "03"
   
10. Leader, trailer to "no"
    
11. Ready to "Yes"
    
12. Stop at to "End char."
    
13. End of block to "CRLF"
    
14. Beginning of output after XON to "no"
    
15. Timeout in sec. to "60"
    
16. Transmission format to "Punch tape format"
14. Press store softkey when done
    
15. Highlight the interface
    
16. Press Selection softkey
