Why are directories in pWidgets HMI not loading?
Problem
- When attempting to send or receive using pWidgets HMI, the directory shows up empty or displays an error message.
Reason
- The service account used with pWidgets does not have sufficient permissions to the directories
Solutions
- Check if the service account credentials expired, update if needed (How to add a Service Account to a Windows Service)
- While logged on with the service account, see if you have access to the directories; if not, ask IT to grant read/write permissions to the service account
