Why are directories in pWidgets HMI not loading?

Problem

  1. When attempting to send or receive using pWidgets HMI, the directory shows up empty or displays an error message.

Reason

  1. The service account used with pWidgets does not have sufficient permissions to the directories

Solutions

  1. Check if the service account credentials expired, update if needed (How to add a Service Account to a Windows Service)
