Why can't credentials be stored in Windows?
Problem
Unable to save credentials in Windows.
Solution
- Open Local Security Policy (secpol.msc) and navigate to Local Policies > Security Options and find the policy "Network access: Do not allow storage of passwords and credentials for network authentication", double click to open it
- Change to Disabled, then press OK
