Why does Haas Output Tool Offset?
Problem
When uploading a program from the CNC to the server, the program includes O999999 (TOOL OFFSET). This will cause a remote request program to fail because the program will exceed the maximum lines allowed.
Reason
A parameter is turned on enabling the saving of offsets.
Solution
Set parameter "156" to "OFF".
- For the Classic Haas Control, this can be found on the same page as the RS232 parameters
- For the Next Generation Control, this can be found under Settings > Miscellaneous
