Why does the USB SIM keep reporting locked by Sentinel Server?

Problem

Predator is intermittently unable to launch and reports it is locked by the Sentinel Server.

Solution

Due to power saving features in modern Windows, it is occasionally necessary to disable some options. Disable USB Selective Suspend by doing the following:
  1. Open Power Options from Control Panel
  2. Change advanced settings and disable "USB Selective Suspend"
