How to Turn On/Off Offline Reporting for Moxa NPort Devices
Overview
Moxa NPort drivers will report to Predator DNC when they are offline. This is configured by default by SFA. If your network is prone to connectivity issues, it might be wise to turn off this reporting until you can resolve the network connectivity issues. A common error in the Predator DNC logs that indicates network connectivity issues is
1450. The downside of turning off offline reporting is the lack of visibility that the hardware is offline as Predator DNC will always assume the hardware is online.
