Why does Moxa W2150A, W2250A, W2150A-W4, & W2250A-W4 fail to open COM port after completing a send or receive?

Problem

  1. Machine connected with W2150A, W2250A, W2150A-W4, or W2250A-W4 can only complete one action, either send or receive, then the COM port fails to open subsequently
  2. Power cycling usually corrects the issue
