How to Access USB LAN Connect Using a Peer-to-Peer Network

Overview

Sometimes its desired to connect a computer directly to the LAN Connect. This is useful when troubleshooting or you do not want to connect to your corporate network. 

Requirements

  1. USB LAN Connect
  2. Computer with available Ethernet port
  3. Ethernet patch cable

Connect to LAN Connect

  1. Plug the Ethernet patch cable into your computers Ethernet port
  2. Plug the other end of the Ethernet patch cable into the USB LAN Connect Ethernet port
  3. Set your network card to be on the same subnet
    1. e.g. USB LAN Connect is 192.168.0.100, set you network card to 192.168.0.101
  4. Connect to the USB LAN Connect FTP server to access SD Card
