How to Upgrade to Predator DNC v12
Overview
This article will assist with the upgrade from Predator DNC v11 to v12.
Requirements
- Local Administrator Rights
- Predator DNC v12 License (Serial Number starts with 0C)
- Download Predator DNC v12
Backup Predator DNC PXP Configuration File
The PXP must be updated to support v12. This is done when you load it in Preator DNC v12 for the first time. To ensure the ability to revert back to Predator DNC v11, we highly recommend you back up the v11 PXP and rename it with v11 appended so its easily identified. e.g. SFA, Inc (San Diego, CA) v11.PXP
Uninstall Predator DNC v11
- Go to Add/Remove Programs or Programs and Features
- Uninstall Predator DNC, Predator CNC Editor, and Predator Virtual CNC
- Follow the prompts to allow the software to uninstall completely
- If a reboot was required, go ahead and reboot PC now
Install Predator DNC v12
- Extract files to C:\Predator Software\Support\Software
- Run SetupDNC.exe
- Leave all items checked and follow steps to install each product
License Predator DNC v12
Launch Predator DNC v12 and Update PXP Configuration File
- When prompted to convert to a newer version format, press OK
- Save the PXP, then it will open like normal
