How to Configure HD I/O Folder on Mazak Mazatrol SmoothG, SmoothX, and SmoothAi Controls
Overview
The HD I/O Folder is used to transfer programs between the hard drive and the NC. This article explains how to set this folder.
Requirements
- Path of desired folder on machine control, e.g. "C:\ymw\M8Y\data\MC_Backup\Predator”

The folder selected cannot be the final destination and must have at least one subfolder.

The subfolders cannot contain spaces.
- Press DATA I/O
- Press HARD DISK
- In the upper right corner, press the gear icon
- Go to Setup > HD I/O Folder
- Press BROWSE
- Navigate to the desired folder
- Press OK
