Controls

1. Any Haas with a RS-232 Port (usually 2016 or older, formally called Classic Haas Control or CHC)

Notate or take a picture of any parameters before you change them

Set Parameters

Standard Transfers (Default)

1. Press SETNG GRAPH button
   
2. Press Page Down button until you find “RS-232 Ports” or a similarly named page (varies by Haas model year)
   
3. Set Baud Rate Select to "9600" (2400, 4800, 19200, 38400 may also be used)
   
4. Set Parity Select to "Even"
   
5. Set Stop Bit to "2"
   
6. Set Synchronization to "DC Codes"
   
7. Set RS-232 Data Bits to "7"
   
8. Set Leader to Punch to "None"
   
9. Set EOB Pattern to "CR LF"
   
10. Set Add Spaces RS232 Out to "Off"
